How I Earned $947 From Writing in February

And How You Can Too

After earning $750 in January, I set myself the goal of beating that total in February, despite it being a shorter month.

And the month did not get off to a flying start when Godaddy deleted my entire website due to the poor English skills of a customer service employee.

I immediately went into panic mode! The site I had spent all of January setting up and which I was using to sell my PDF illustrated stories was suddenly gone!

I had customer service chat screenshots proving I had asked for a change of package from the website provider and not for the entire thing to be deleted. Despite this, I was forced to spend hour upon hour, first in chat and later on the phone with people who were pretty passive-aggressive and insisted on blaming me for the error.

I persisted and eventually was able to get the site restored, but that took the first few days of February and I’d lost my top Google ranking in search results after the deletion.

I went about building things back up and ramped up my social media presence even more on Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and Deviantart.
