My 2023 Productivity Suite (Update)
The apps and websites I use as a writer and teacher to stay organised.
Back in January, I published a story detailing the apps and services I use to be as productive as possible. I’m a full-time teacher and a writer on the side and need to be as efficient as possible with my time in order to do both well.
I was just setting up my website in January and seven months later I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made. I now regularly make between £700 and £900 a month from writing on top of my regular salary from teaching.
There have been a few changes since January to the software I use. I’ll link to the original story at the bottom if you want to compare. The most significant difference is how much I use Notion.
I’d tried Notion briefly before January but wasn’t impressed with the UI. But I returned to it and after a small learning curve, I’m absolutely loving it and couldn’t imagine working without it.
I have the app installed on my Mac Mini and my MacBook and also on my Samsung phone (The Samsung Z Fold series of phones is a game-changer for me when it comes to running my side hustle!).
